Women for Women International Event

Really Wild and Women for Women International celebrate International Women's Day

London, 12th March 2025 – In celebration of International Women's Day, Really Wild hosted a powerful evening supporting Women for Women International, an organisation dedicated to empowering women survivors of war and conflict. The event brought together our Really Wild Tribe to learn about the charity’s transformative work and help support it to continue, with 20% of proceeds from the evening donated.

Empowering Women, Changing Lives

During the evening, Sara Bowcutt (UK Managing Director) from Women for Women International shared inspiring stories of resilience, highlighting how the women they work with have an unending sense of hope for change. Through programs offering vocational training, healthcare, and education, Women for Women International empowers women to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.

With a presence in eight conflict-affected countries, the charity has supported over 500,000 women, equipping them with the tools they need for both personal and economic success. Their holistic approach ensures women not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity.

Looking Ahead

A key takeaway from the evening was the importance of collective action. Sara emphasized that creating real change requires more than words—it requires active support and becoming part of a larger movement for gender equality. The success of the evening reaffirmed our core value of empowering women around the world and how, through community and action, we can make a lasting difference. We are so proud to continually support organizations like Women for Women International.
